
Mr. Maziakowski provides consulting and compliance services on international tax matters for businesses and individuals. This includes the US taxation of citizens residing overseas, foreign estates with US property, and foreign persons and entities with US income or property. In addition, he advises on structuring both US and foreign business entities optimizing clients’ worldwide tax exposure. Mr. Maziakowski is a member of the business tax compliance and company formation team and handles individual tax compliance and US trademark registration.
Born in Szczecin, Poland, and raised in New York and Baltimore, Mr. Maziakowski graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service. He has over eight years of experience working in the field of International Trade at several major law firms. Mr. Maziakowski obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from George Mason Antonin Scalia Law School in May 2022. During law school, he was a legal intern with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and participated in the law school’s Tribal Sovereignty clinic. Upon graduating law school, he was a tax analyst for an industry news publication.
