Originally from Egypt, Omar earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in December 2008. He is fluent in Arabic and Spanish. He is now working with the firm remotely on a part time basis as his wife’s employment required a move to Jacksonville, FL last year.
Mr. Saleh joined Flott & Co. in August 2015. Before joining the firm, he worked for the Embassy of Bahrain in Washington D.C. where he helped represent the Bahrain Economic Development Board before various US companies to drive expansion and investment to the country. He went on to work in the finance operations division of the Saudi Cultural Mission in Fairfax, VA, which was responsible for its multi-billion dollar scholarship program. During these years he also worked part time for a local tax practice mainly serving domestic clients and obtained accreditation as an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
